Privacy Notice

Effective from 11 September 2026

This Privacy Notice describes the processing of personal data in connection with the triola.hu website, Triola room hire services, newsletter subscriptions, invoicing and CCTV surveillance at the venue in Budapest.

1. Data controllers

Room hire and CCTV: Ferenc Kristofori. Contact: ferenc.kristofori@gmail.com, +36 70 771 6165.

Triola Studio Kft. Registered office: 1084 Budapest, Bérkocsis utca 18. -1. em. 25., Hungary; tax number: 33069933-2-42. Triola Studio Kft. acts as controller only for processing activities expressly identified below.

2. Room hire enquiries, bookings and contracts

Controller: Ferenc Kristofori.

Data processed: name, e-mail address, telephone number, purpose of hire, room, date and time, booking status, fee and payment information and, where a contract is concluded, data required for the contract, deposit and handover. For abuse prevention, the online booking system also creates and stores a one-way SHA-256 hash derived from the IP address.

Purposes and legal bases: handling enquiries and quotations, preparing and performing room-hire contracts, communication, handling fees and deposits, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract), where applicable Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligation), and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests, in particular abuse prevention and legal claims).

Technical processing: online booking data are stored in the WordPress database. The system sends a confirmation e-mail to the customer and an administrative notification to triola.terem@gmail.com. Hosting and e-mail services are provided by Rackhost Zrt.

Payment: room-hire fees are paid by bank transfer. triola.hu does not request or process payment-card details.

Retention: booking and contractual data are retained for as long as necessary for performance of the contract, applicable accounting/legal obligations and potential legal claims. Accounting documents are retained for the period required by applicable law.

3. Newsletter

If a visitor subscribes to a newsletter on the website, the controller is Triola Studio Kft. Subscription is voluntary. The data are used only for sending newsletters and related communications and are stored in WordPress until consent is withdrawn. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

4. Ticket purchases

For ticket purchases, triola.hu redirects visitors to an external ticketing website. triola.hu does not collect the personal or payment-card data entered during the external purchase. The external provider’s own privacy notice applies to that processing.

5. Invoicing

Data required for invoicing are processed to comply with legal obligations. We use the Számlázz.hu invoicing service operated by KBOSS.hu Kft. Invoice data are retained in accordance with applicable accounting and tax retention requirements.

6. CCTV surveillance

Controller: Ferenc Kristofori.

Purpose: protection of persons and property, protection of the venue, guests and assets, prevention and investigation of damage and security incidents, and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. A documented legitimate-interest assessment should be maintained for the CCTV system.

Areas monitored: external cameras monitor the building façade only. Internal cameras monitor the Main Hall (Nagyterem), Small Hall (Kisterem), Studio, corridor, entrances, café and the area around the cash register. Toilets and changing rooms are not monitored.

Retention: recordings are stored for a maximum of 15 days and are then automatically overwritten, unless continued retention of a specific recording is necessary because of an incident, a data-subject request, a legal claim or an authority/court proceeding.

Access: recordings may be accessed only by Ferenc Kristofori and only where justified for the purposes described above. Disclosure may take place where required by law, in response to a competent authority or court, for handling a data-subject request, or for legal claims, while protecting the rights of other persons.

Clear advance CCTV information must also be displayed at the venue.
